A little about me…
I’m Andrea, and I have a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design from San Diego State University. Located in San Diego, I currently work at a digital bank as a UX Designer. Those who I work with describe me as dependable, tenacious, detail-oriented, articulate, and easy to get along with. I strive to create intuitive and impactful designs that enhance user productivity and drive business success in the software-as-a-service industry. My passion lies in finding the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that every interaction is seamless and engaging for users. I accomplish this by conducting thorough research, analyzing user behavior, and collaborating closely with stakeholders. This is how I am able to not only meet business objectives but more importantly satisfy user needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, lounging by the pool, and practicing karate. I earned my black belt in TaeKwonDo and Hapkido at 14; this is where I learned about discipline and focus. My first job was teaching at my studio. Despite my 5'2" stature, my experience and portfolio highlight my ability to tackle challenges head-on, push boundaries, and be innovative. I integrate the design process into my daily life, approaching issues with creativity, empathy, and a focus on meaningful solutions.
